³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌwork
In our effort to provide education that will meet the varying needs of all students, it is ³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌ policy to assign some directed out-of-class work beyond the regular school day. Out-of-class work is assigned to help the student become more self-reliant, learn to work independently, improve the skills that have been taught, and to complete certain worthwhile projects and/or research. A parent can be an invaluable partner and co-worker by participating with his or her child in locating materials, sharing knowledge, experimenting together in an art or science project and listening to or viewing school work in progress. It is essential that parents provide a good atmosphere for work at home. A specific place should be set aside for the student which is well lit, ventilated and free from distractions. Parents should observe the child at work and be available to give guidance if the need arises.
