Pre-K Program
If you have a current 4-year-old and are interested in signing up for the Pre-K program during the 2024-2025 school year, please contact the Office of K-8 Education at 315-622-7177.
The ³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌ offers a Pre-K Program for four-year-olds.
To be eligible for the 2025-2026 school year, a child must:
- Reside in the ³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌ
- Have a birthdate between December 2, 2020 and December 1, 2021
This program is partially funded by a state grant and is subject to the passage of the New York State budget. If your child qualifies for the program and is given a seat through our random lottery numbering system, he/she will be enrolled at one of the following sites. All programs are five days a week and follow the ³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌ calendar.

Instruction is consistent with New York State Pre-Kindergarten learning standards which focus on a child’s social/emotional, cognitive and physical development.
Transportation to and from the program is the responsibility of parents/guardians and students must attend the program five days a week to maintain their seat.
The ³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌ does not provide transportation.
Pre-K Registration Process
Those interested in having their child attend the Pre-K Program for the 2025-2026 school year must complete the steps listed below.
- First complete the Pre-K Interest Form found HERE. The form will be available online beginning January 6, 2025.
- Complete the Consent form found HERE. The form will be available online beginning January 6, 2025.
- S or call our Registrar’s office at 315-622-7193 to set up an appointment to bring in the documents needed to complete your child’s registration. Your registration is not complete until the Registrar has all of the documents listed below:
- Proof of Student's Age (examples of one of the following suitable documents)
- Birth Certification (certified transcript of a birth certificate)
- Record of Baptism
- Passport
- Complete/Up-to-Date Physical and Immunizations (Must be Signed by a Medical Doctor)
- Not transcribed in a record (N.Y.S. Requirement)
- Your child's latest physical is required to complete registration for the following grades: EPK, K, 2, 4, 7 and 10.
- Proof of Residency (provide two of the following documents to establishing your physical presence in our district)
- Signed Lease or Mortgage Statement
- Landline Phone Bill
- Cable Bill or Internet Bill
- Gas/Electric/Water Bill
- Parent Photo Identification
- Driver's License
- Passport
- Custody Papers (if applicable)
- Proof of Student's Age (examples of one of the following suitable documents)
Eligible children of families who submit the interest form AND complete the registration process will be considered for enrollment until all seats are full.
You will be notified when your registration has been reviewed and is considered complete.
Completed registrations received after all seats are full will be placed on a waiting list until a seat becomes available.
There a limited number of seats in the ³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌ Pre-K program. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a seat in the program.
If at any time you are no longer planning to participate in the Pre-K program, please notify the K-8 Education Office by calling 315-622-7177. Please include your child's name and date of birth if you leave a message.
* Please note that Pre-K is not a mandated educational program in New York State.
