School Based Mental Health Programs
The ³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌ offers several school-based mental health programs in its school buildings.
Liberty Resources
Liberty Resources School-Based Mental Health therapists provide treatment to children and families. Its goal is to improve the quality of life for our clients and to improve their ability to succeed academically. The School-Based Mental Health team:
- Receives referrals from parents/guardians, teachers, or any other school staff.
- Contacts parents/guardians to obtain proper parental approvals and a record of the child’s history.
- Partners with the child and parent to decide what supports and services are needed.
Services offered include:
- Individual therapy (in school)
- Family counseling (at home, school, or clinic)
- Psychiatric evaluation and medication management
- Crisis consultation/intervention
- Group therapy
- Case management
- School consultations
- Referrals to community resources

Promise Zone
Promise Zone is a school-based mental health program that matches students' emotional and behavioral needs with effective, targeted interventions designed to develop skills and increase engagement in instructional time through a multi-tiered system of support. Each elementary, middle and high school in the³¬¼¶µõÖÓÄÌ has a team to support students with emotional or behavioral challenges. CCSI staff play an integral role in these teams as Promise Zone Student Engagement Specialists.
Promise Zone Services include:
- Restorative conferencing
- Restorative circles
- Collaborative Problem Solving
- Support Coach
- Check In Check Out
- 2x10
- Skills group to improve executive functioning
- Lunch bunch
- De-escalation
- Student observation
- Push in class support
- Carry out and monitor tier 2 and tier 3 interventions as assigned by school administration and staff
- Up to 2 hours daily on-call (unscheduled) support
- Other interventions and programs based on Student Engagement Specialist’s Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
